German Foreign Minister: Putin’s brutality knows no bounds

Annalena Baerbock, the German Foreign Minister, reacting to this attack, which has been one of the deadliest Russian attacks since the beginning of the war, wrote on the social media platform X that two Russian missiles hit Poltava and the second missile was launched when rescuers were trying to attend to the injured from the first explosion. Putin’s brutality knows no bounds. He must be held accountable.

John Kirby, the White House National Security Council spokesman, also described this attack as a terrible reminder of Putin’s brutality during a press conference on Tuesday and announced that a new package of U.S. military aid will be sent to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
