Germany and Israel Concerned About Nuclear Activities in Iran

Germany and Israel are concerned about nuclear activities in Iran

The German Foreign Minister, after expressing shame over her country’s history in the Holocaust, during a joint press conference with her Israeli counterpart, stated that the Berlin government is committed to its obligations regarding the security of Tel Aviv, and Israel can trust us in this matter.

In this context, she also referred to the shared foreign policy of the two parties concerning Iran and, while repeating interventionist remarks on Iran’s internal affairs, claimed that the Islamic Republic, through its support of military groups, threatens the stability and security of the Middle East.

Baerbock, stating that Berlin and Tel Aviv are worried about Iran’s nuclear program, referred to the alleged report by the American publication Bloomberg about 84% uranium enrichment in Iran and claimed that this level of enrichment has no civilian justification.
