Germany and Israel: Iran’s recent enrichment has no justification

Annalena Baerbock, Germany’s Foreign Minister, said the recent enrichment level in Iran has no civilian justification and Iran should not acquire a nuclear bomb.

Eli Cohen, Israel’s Foreign Minister, also stated that the only way to prevent Iran from building a nuclear bomb is through economic and diplomatic pressures.

The Israeli Foreign Minister arrived in Germany today to discuss Iran’s nuclear program.

Upon arriving in Berlin, he tweeted that the meeting focuses on efforts to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and strengthening bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran’s Foreign Minister, has proposed to the United Nations the formation of a new international nuclear convention.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, is expected to visit Tehran soon to discuss disputes with Iran, including the discovery of 84% enriched uranium traces.
