Ghalenoei Withdraws from Leading the National Team

Ghalenoei withdrew from coaching the national team

Amir Ghalenoei, head coach of Gol Gohar Sirjan, and Saket Elhami, head coach of Havadar, withdrew from coaching Iran’s national football team. Ghalenoei wrote in an Instagram story that he had prepared a detailed plan but did not write why he withdrew from the national team.

Yesterday, the names of several domestic coaches were suggested for the national team, but last night Amir Mahdi Alavi, the public relations manager of the Football Federation, said the priority is with a foreign coach.

Ghalenoei also wrote that the names of Yahya Golmohammadi, Mohammad Rabiei, and Mojtaba Hosseini were missing from this list. Ghalenoei also made a remark about the dire economic situation of the people in Iran these days.
