Googoosh: I will not return to the stage until the fall of the Islamic Republic

Googoosh, the famous Iranian singer, in an interview with the Associated Press, referring to the release of her new book titled ‘Googoosh: The Forbidden Voice’, said that she prefers to postpone her artistic activities to a time when the Islamic Republic is no longer in power in Iran.

Googoosh, who recently held her farewell tour, pointed to the current situation in Iran and said that young people, especially women, are fighting for their basic rights, including freedom of dress and art.
