Attack by Government Forces on Isfahan University of Medical Sciences Dormitory
Reports from Iran indicate that on the morning of Saturday, November 19, Islamic Republic security forces attacked the dormitory of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences students and arrested several students.
This attack occurred just hours after professors from three universities—Isfahan, Shiraz, and Beheshti—sent separate letters demanding an end to the attacks by security forces and special units on universities and student dormitories.
The early Saturday morning attack by Islamic Republic security forces on the dormitory of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Sepahan Shahr is the latest instance of widespread and violent assaults by these forces on universities and student dormitories in various cities across Iran.
The National Student Council reported that in the early minutes of Saturday morning, November 19, during the attack on the dormitory of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences students, after severely beating the dormitory guard who resisted the security forces, they arrested two students.
