Government Spokesperson Agrees with the Transfer of Persepolis and Esteghlal

The government spokesperson agreed to transfer Persepolis and Esteghlal.

Ali Bahadori Jahromi, the spokesperson for the Iranian government, announced that the government has agreed to transfer the two football teams, Esteghlal and Persepolis, to two non-governmental banks.

The government spokesperson stated that negotiations have been conducted to transfer these teams to non-governmental banks.

According to him, a portion of the shares of these two clubs was transferred to the public in the stock market, and for the transfer of the remaining shares, legal obstacles need to be resolved.

These obstacles remain unresolved.
