Some preferred chanting slogans over dialogue. Ali Bahadori Jahromi, the government spokesperson, tweeted about the eventful speech he gave yesterday at Kharazmi University, which was accompanied by the students’ continuous chants of ‘Woman, Life, Freedom’.

I went to Kharazmi University today to hear objections and opinions directly. Some preferred chanting slogans over dialogue and even booing classmates who shared their views.

However, the university is alive because, without setting red lines in questioning, a frank and diverse dialogue among the majority of students took place for two hours.
