Government Spokesperson: Truck Drivers Are Hardworking, But the Management of This Industry Is with the Government

The government spokesperson stated that truck drivers are hardworking, but the management of this industry is the responsibility of the government.

Fatemeh Mohajerani, spokesperson for the Maskian government, without directly referring to the truck drivers’ strike, said the government considers itself obligated to respond to the truck drivers’ professional demands.

She continued, saying that an important demand of the truck drivers is related to laws that perhaps have not been given sufficient attention.

The spokesperson for the Maskian government added that according to the Ministry of Oil, if truck drivers travel on routes for which an electronic waybill has been issued, no price change in their fuel consumption will be applied.

She added that heavy vehicle drivers are among the hardest working members of society, but the government is also compelled to steer matters such as transportation towards process management.
