The Governor of Gilan reported that 389 residential and commercial units were destroyed in the Shaft fire.

The Governor of Gilan, in a report on the latest status of the damages from the fire at Imamzadeh Ebrahim Shaft, stated that in this village fire incident, 389 residential and commercial units in the form of 120 buildings were completely destroyed.

He initially said that according to preliminary assessments conducted by the Provincial Housing Foundation in cooperation with the village council of Imamzadeh Ebrahim Shaft, in this village fire incident, 389 residential and commercial units in the form of 120 buildings were completely destroyed and need reconstruction, and the surveying of the units damaged by the fire at Imamzadeh Ebrahim has started today.

Expressing satisfaction with the Minister of Interior’s directive regarding the payment of facilities to those affected by the fire at Imamzadeh Ebrahim Shaft and the government’s support for these individuals, he added that one of the most important issues was following up on their insurance coverage, which has been assessed, and the case formation by insurance experts has also been completed to facilitate compensation payments.
