Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, agreed with Iran to cooperate in resolving disputes.

Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, agreed with Iran to cooperate in resolving disputes. Rafael Grossi, who is visiting Iran, met with Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization, in the city of Isfahan, and then both parties attended a joint press conference.

Mr. Grossi said that during this visit, Iran and the Agency agreed to cooperate based on the agreement made in March 2023 to resolve disputes.

The Director General of the Agency said today we agreed to continue this document and its provisions remain valid.

According to Mr. Grossi, there is no plan to sign a new agreement between Iran and the Agency. He mentioned that a proposal with operational steps has been given to Iran, and representatives of Iran and the Agency are defining these mutual steps.

Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, also said that we are pursuing the continuation of our interactions based on the joint statement, and then explained that the parties are focusing on resolving the remaining two locations.

Iran had previously claimed that it had responded to the Agency on this matter and that the issue was concluded.
