The spokesperson for the Guardian Council announced that the transparency plan for the three branches of government will be sent to the Expediency Discernment Council.
Hadi Tahan Nazif, the spokesperson for the Guardian Council, in a press conference held this morning, Wednesday, explained the latest plans and bills reviewed by the Guardian Council. He said that since the beginning of the year until today, we have received 59 approvals from the Parliament and have given our opinion on them. Out of this number, 31 were plans and the rest were bills, with 12 approvals being confirmed in the first stage, 24 approvals were confirmed after the issues were resolved, and 23 were objected to by the council and are still being exchanged between the council and the Parliament.
He added that during this period, 24 statutes sent by the government were reviewed, of which 23 were approved and 3 are still under consideration.
In addition to this, we have given opinions on letters, totaling 162, of which 129 were from the Administrative Court of Justice, with 102 not being found contrary to religious standards and 27 being recognized as contrary to religious standards.
Also, during this period, we had 118 sessions, of which 87 were plenary sessions and 32 were sessions of the Guardian Council’s jurists.
