Hacking of Iranian government websites in protest of the killing of Mahsa Amini

Following the events and protests sparked by the killing of Mahsa Amini by the Iranian Islamic Republic’s morality police, the hacker group Anonymous, which had been active during the Ukraine war and the Arab Spring, supported the Iranian people for the first time.

Following this support, a few hours later, the government site irangovir and its portal at portalirangovir were taken offline by DDOS attacks. According to informed sources and experts related to Iran Gate, the possibility of revealing the names of suppressive forces and their doxing is very likely.

It has also been reported that all the information and databases of these sites have been deleted.

Additionally, the hacker group ‘Justice of Ali’ revealed minutes ago that they hacked the ‘Promotion of Virtue’ site and released images of it.
