Hamas Delays Release of Next Group of Hostages

Hamas postponed the release of the next group of hostages.

A Hamas spokesperson accused Israel of repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement on Tuesday and announced that the release of the next group of hostages scheduled for Saturday would be delayed.

Since the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel last month, five exchanges have taken place, resulting in the release of 21 Israeli hostages held by Hamas and over 730 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

In the next exchange planned for Saturday, three more Israeli hostages were supposed to be released in exchange for the freedom of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
