Hamdel Newspaper: The Government is Complacent
Hamdel Newspaper reports that the narrative the President and the members of the government have about Iran and its people is completely different from what the people and even the members of Parliament are experiencing.
The President believes that the train of Iran’s progress is moving rapidly, while economic statistics indicate otherwise.
For instance, the exchange rate in the market reached a new record last week.
Over the past six months, many members of Parliament have stated that due to various problems and poor performance, people are dissatisfied and even angry, but now the Minister of Interior says that people are satisfied.
The current strategy of the current statesmen is to express satisfaction with the government’s actions on behalf of people who have had a different narrative about the state of the country in recent months.
The statesmen have put their seal of approval on their own success document instead of the people’s, and they are citing it.
