Hamid Farrokhnezhad criticizes the division among opponents of the Iranian government: Give up selfishness and flag-waving.
Hamid Farrokhnezhad, an Iranian actor who recently left Iran, wrote in his new Instagram post, criticizing the fragmentation and division among opposition forces abroad. He wrote, ‘It’s been about ten days since I left Iran and I’ve met a group who call themselves the opposition and have considered opposing the tyrannical and oppressive Islamic Republic as their job for years. I quickly realized how fortunate the Islamic Republic is to have such opponents.’
Mr. Farrokhnezhad, meanwhile, referred to those who asked him why he came late and why he remained silent until now, writing, ‘I bow to all those who, with faith in the overthrow of the regime of injustice, have given up their most precious possessions and have wisely set aside everything that contradicts their unity for their great cause. Those who do not set conditions for joining the repentant and do not consider themselves the owners of the uprising.’
