Hamidreza Alimi Madah: People Are Protesting and Want Answers

Hamidreza Alimi, a religious eulogist, says people are protesting and demanding answers.

Hamidreza Alimi, a dissenting eulogist, in his latest reaction supporting the protesters, addressed the supporters of the Iranian government in a tweet, saying, ‘Neither are you the army of Ali, peace be upon him, and Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, nor are the protesters against you the army of Muawiyah and the cursed Yazid. Many people are protesting and demanding answers.’

He also responded to a tweet by Mostafa Mousavi, a writer and the head of the Tawabin charity, who had tweeted that if you do not stand by the Islamic Republic during its tough economic times, then you probably wouldn’t have stood by the Prophet of Islam or in Sha’ba Abi Talib during the early Islamic era. Alimi replied, ‘Sha’ba Abi Talib lasted three years, not 43 years.’

Mr. Alimi also announced some time ago on his Instagram account that, by order of the Intelligence Department of Isfahan and Qom, his mourning sessions in these two cities have been canceled, and by order of the Isfahan Intelligence Department, he is no longer allowed to hold mourning sessions there.
