According to Azerbaijani media, Sahiba Gafarova, the Speaker of the Parliament, stated on Friday that no one has the right to interfere in Azerbaijan’s exercise of national sovereignty. We firmly reject the baseless accusations made by Iran’s Parliament against our country and urge them to cease such provocations and refrain from actions that damage bilateral relations.

Ms. Gafarova made these remarks in a session where parliament members decided to respond to Iran’s Parliament.
