Hassan Yazdani advanced to the final

In the 86 kg weight class of the 2024 Olympic freestyle wrestling competition, Hassan Yazdani advanced to the final with three victories.

Having won gold in the 2016 Olympics and becoming the runner-up in the 2020 Olympics, he will face Magomed Eldarovich Ramazanov from Bulgaria on Friday night to compete for the gold medal.

In Paris, Yazdani first defeated Jaden Lawrence from Australia with a score of 10-0, and in the quarterfinals, he won against Duran Kuraogliev from Greece with a score of 9-4.

The winner of 9 world and Olympic medals, who has now secured his tenth medal, defeated Amine Miles from San Marino 7-1 in the semifinals to become a finalist.

On the other side of the bracket, Aaron Brooks from the USA, who was leading against the Bulgarian opponent Ramazanov until the final seconds, was taken down and pinned, resulting in a loss.
