The head and researcher of the East Water and Environment Research Center optimistically states that Kashmar will only have water for another 25 years.

Meysam Majidi, the head and researcher of the East Water and Environment Research Center, in an interview with ISNA, stated that Kashmar is facing a water crisis and land subsidence. In the current situation, the first priority of the country, and especially Kashmar, is water supply. Because the issue of water was neglected in the past, today we are witnessing its effects in various sectors. According to studies from 2018 until now, optimistically, on average, we will have water in the city of Kashmar for another 25 years.
