The Chief Justice of Alborz Province stated that Armita Abbasi had a history of hemorrhoid problems.
Hossein Fazeli Herikandi, the Chief Justice of Alborz Province, denied the allegations of sexual assault by security forces on Armita Abbasi, a 20-year-old protester from Karaj, and said:
This woman had pre-existing digestive issues related to hemorrhoid disease, and the examinations showed that she currently has no specific problems. She was discharged from the hospital in less than 24 hours, and immediately upon discharge, orders were issued for further examinations to ensure no future health issues arise.
Due to the nature of her charges and crimes, and the fact that she was a leader of the riots and riotous items and equipment were found in her home, she is being held in temporary detention in Fardis prison. According to the law, she is also in contact with her family.
The rumors about her death or assault are completely false and untrue.
