Head of Parliament's Cultural Commission: Raisi Signed the Budget for the Hijab Bill

The head of the Parliament’s Cultural Commission stated that Raisi signed the budget for the Hijab bill.

The head of the Parliament’s Cultural Commission said that regarding the Hijab and Chastity bill, we imposed a budget on the government without its acceptance, but ultimately Mr. Raisi accepted, signed, and submitted it, and it is ready to move to the final stage.

Agha Tehrani, the head of the Parliament’s Cultural Commission, in response to the question about where the Hijab and Chastity bill, which faced criticism regarding the performance of the Parliament’s Speaker Mr. Qalibaf, ended up, said that the issues with the Hijab and Chastity bill have been almost resolved and it has gone to the Guardian Council. There were ambiguities there too, with the most significant serious issue related to Article 75, meaning we impose a cost and budget on the government without its acceptance, but ultimately Mr. Raisi accepted, signed, and submitted it, and it is ready to move to the final stage.
