The Head of the Central Bank’s Jurisprudential Council: A religious supervisor will be stationed in each bank.
Members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly made the Central Bank responsible for establishing Islamic banking and ensuring fair practices in the monetary and banking sectors of the country. In another report, Gholamreza Mesbahi Moghadam, the Head of the Central Bank’s Jurisprudential Council, announced the appointment of individuals as supervisors to be stationed in banks after completing a training course and proving their qualifications. He stated that currently, one supervisory force is intended for each bank.
