The Chairman of the Parliament’s Economic Commission said the government should play the role of an attacking midfielder in the economy.
On Tuesday, November 3, Shamseddin Hosseini, the Chairman of the Parliament’s Economic Commission, referred to the experiences of different periods and said that sometimes the government wanted to make decisions, but other branches did not allow it, and at times, it was the opposite.
Using a football metaphor, he added that the government should play the role of an attacking midfielder, make decisions, and align other branches with itself.
These remarks come at a time when the economic plans of the government under Pezhmanian have faced challenges and disagreements among the branches on the path to approval in recent months.
