Head of the Promotion of Virtue Committee Confirms Doctors Say Men's Gaze Affects Unveiling

The director of the Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong headquarters has confirmed that men’s eye radiation affects the lack of hijab.

Mohammad Hossein Taheri Akordi, the director of the Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong headquarters, in an interview with Ensaf News, referring to the topic of hijab and chastity, claimed that many doctors have confirmed the issue of emitting eye radiation in the context of lack of hijab.

The director of the Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong headquarters is referring to the statements of Hedayat Sahraei, who claimed that women’s lack of hijab leads to increased anxiety, depression, and violence.

Supporters of mandatory hijab in the Islamic Republic are trying to scientifically prove that the issue of lack of hijab affects mental health.

Previously, one of the supporters of mandatory hijab on state TV had claimed that wearing a hijab is beneficial for women’s health because men’s eyes produce radiation that can damage women’s skin.

These statements are made while there are reports of the return of the morality police to the streets, a topic that Taheri denied, saying that it is a mistake to say that the headquarters sent the morality police to the streets.
