Head of the Retired Workers' Union: Expect a Gasoline Price Increase in the New Year

The president of the Union of Veteran Workers’ Society says to expect an increase in gasoline prices in the new year.

Hassan Sadeghi, the president of the Union of Veteran Workers’ Society, says we should expect 67% inflation next year and a further decrease in the value of the national currency. An increase in gasoline prices and other energy carriers is also on the way.

The Iranian government should increase wages based on the actual inflation rate, similar to Erdogan. Last year, the President of Turkey increased wages by 76% in two stages so that the Turkish people would suffer less from rising inflation.

Erdogan understands the economy, but we have entrusted economic affairs to those who haven’t even passed two units of economics in university.
