The leader of the Wagner paramilitary group called for an end to the war in Ukraine
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner paramilitary group affiliated with the Russian Armed Forces, in a statement published online on Sunday, April 16, requested Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine now.
Prigozhin asked Putin to tell the world that Russia has achieved the goals of its special military operation, including destroying a large part of the active male population of Ukraine.
Prigozhin claims that Russia has captured a large piece of Ukrainian territory and that the current strategic goal of the country’s forces, which have suffered heavy losses, is to defend the existing achievements.
