Abdolnaser Hemmati, the former governor of the Central Bank, posted a video of Raisi’s speech on his personal page, writing: Mr. Raisi has said efforts have been made with the 1403 budget to balance many of the imbalances that have caused suffering for everyone.

It would be good to explain further to the same Akhavan al-Mustafa how a budget that is itself exposed to imbalances in terms of revenues is supposed to heroically balance the multi-hundred-thousand-billion-toman imbalances of the banking system, pension funds, government debt, and state-owned companies.
