Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, a professor at Allameh Tabataba’i University, stated that the total thefts in major embezzlement cases in Iran have been estimated at over 57 billion dollars. This amount is equal to the entire loan that South Korea received from the International Monetary Fund, which helped them save their bankrupt economy and become one of the top ten economies in the world.
