Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was buried in the Shah Abdol-Azim shrine

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was buried in the Shah Abdol-Azim shrine. Iranian media published images of the funeral ceremony of Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the former foreign minister of the Islamic Republic. He was laid to rest on the third of Khordad at the Shah Abdol-Azim shrine in southern Tehran.

Amir-Abdollahian was killed on Sunday, 30th of Ordibehesht, due to the crash of a helicopter that was carrying him, Ebrahim Raisi, the former president of Iran, and their accompanying delegation.

Among those who attended his funeral was Mohammad Javad Zarif, the former foreign minister of Iran. At the ceremony, he said the greatest characteristic of Mr. Amir-Abdollahian was his sincerity, and he received the reward for this sincerity.

Zarif blamed the US sanctions on the sale of aircraft and aviation parts to Iran for the crash of Raisi’s helicopter.
