Hossein Ronaghi’s family reported his transfer to the infirmary
Sakineh Ronaghi, the sister of political prisoner Hossein Ronaghi, announced on her Instagram today that her brother has been transferred to the Evin prison infirmary.
Hassan Ronaghi, Hossein Ronaghi’s brother, also says that Hossein’s condition worsened and he was transferred to the Evin prison infirmary.
Mr. Ronaghi tweeted that the Evin prosecutor’s office continues to prevent Hossein’s release with baseless excuses. The prosecutor of the Evin prosecutor’s office, Nasiripour, intends harm to Hossein.
Hossein Razagh, a media activist imprisoned in Iran, also expressed concern about Hossein Ronaghi’s condition in an audio file sent from inside the prison.
He says that in recent days, while Hossein Ronaghi is in the general ward, everyone has witnessed his deterioration and every day his condition becomes more critical.
He warned, referring to Hossein Ronaghi’s dry hunger strike since Sunday morning, that at any moment something unfortunate and irreversible might happen to him.
Yesterday, Jafar Panahi and Mohammad Rasoulof, two imprisoned filmmakers in Iran who are cellmates with Hossein Ronaghi, warned about his health.
