Hossein Shariatmadari, Editor-in-Chief of Kayhan Newspaper, Reacts to French Publication's Action: Let's Close the Strait of Hormuz

Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of Kayhan newspaper, in response to the action of the French publication: Let’s close the Strait of Hormuz.

Hossein Shariatmadari, the managing director of Kayhan, wrote about the action of the French publication Charlie Hebdo: In the December 22nd editorial, we mentioned closing the Strait of Hormuz to oil tankers and commercial ships of the mentioned countries as one of the powerful and regret-inducing levers to counter the crimes of the US and Europe.

Now, this serious and certainly logical question is posed to the esteemed officials of our country, not just the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Why do they not use this legal right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to counter the regret-inducing crimes of hostile countries?
