How much foreign currency can each traveler purchase?

According to the latest foreign exchange rules and regulations issued by the Central Bank, all travelers over the age of 18 can receive travel currency under certain conditions from five banks in the country. Travel currency is one of the specified uses of foreign exchange in the new regulations, according to which the provision and payment of travel currency in cash is possible once a year through the National Bank of Iran, Mellat Bank, Saman Bank, Tejarat Bank, and Parsian Bank. Additionally, for air travelers, the provision and payment of travel currency in cash is set at 500 euros for countries requiring a visa and 300 euros or its equivalent in other currencies for countries not requiring a visa.
