How much currency can each traveler buy?

According to the latest currency laws and regulations published by the Central Bank, all travelers over 18 years old can receive travel currency from five national banks under certain conditions. Travel currency is one of the declared currency uses in the new laws, and based on that, the provision and payment of travel currency in banknotes is possible once a year through Iranian National Bank, Mellat Bank, Saman Bank, Tejarat Bank, and Parsian Bank. Additionally, for air travelers, the provision and payment of travel currency in banknotes have been set at 500 euros for countries with a visa requirement and 300 euros or equivalent in other currencies for visa-free countries.
