The Imam’s Line Forces Assembly on the Shiraz tragedy: How were the criminals able to carry out such an operation?
Following the terrorist attack on the pilgrims of Shah Cheragh shrine, the Imam’s Line Forces Assembly issued a statement condemning this crime and asked the responsible authorities how the criminals were able to carry out this operation.
The text of the statement is as follows:
Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed to Him we will return. The distressing news of the armed attack on the pilgrims of Ahmad bin Musa’s shrine and the resulting casualties and injuries among our fellow citizens, in these days when unfortunate news has been targeting our people from all sides, has added an extra burden of grief. The Imam’s Line Forces Assembly, while expressing condolences to the bereaved families and sincere sympathy with them and wishing for the recovery of the injured, seriously questions the responsible agencies on how the criminals were able to carry out such an operation and what actions have been taken regarding any possible negligence or fault.
Undoubtedly, what is important in such incidents is preventing their recurrence and ensuring the stable security of all members of society, which cannot be overlooked. Unfortunately, in recent weeks, we have witnessed the killing and injuring of more fellow citizens in other parts of the country, where in most cases, no individual or group has been officially identified or arrested as the perpetrators of these incidents, and no convincing explanation has been provided. It is evident that the cycle of violence, under any name or ideology, is destructive to security and devastates homes, targeting the unity and integrity of dear Iran.
The instigators and perpetrators of violence are those nurtured by extremism, bigotry, and rigidity, and they are far removed from compassion, mercy, interaction, coexistence, respect for others, and preserving human dignity.
