IAEA Director General Appreciates Egypt for Resolving Iran-Agency Relations

Appreciation from the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency for Egypt’s role in resolving relations between Iran and the Agency

Rafael Grossi, in a post on the X network, addressed Badr Abdel-Aty, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, stating that in the current situation, dialogue and diplomacy should be prioritized, and we will continue our efforts to restore the necessary trust to make progress.

Egypt and Iran have not publicly commented on this potential mediation.

A month ago, during the simultaneous visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister and Mr. Grossi to Cairo, the two sides, at Egypt’s suggestion, held a trilateral meeting.
