Identification and Police Action Against Disruptive Behavior in Cyberspace
The head of Mazandaran’s cyber police announced the implementation of a plan to address disruptive behaviors in cyberspace and identified 541 instances of such behavior.
According to Fars News Agency, on Friday, April 28, Sameh Khorshad, the head of Mazandaran’s cyber police, mentioned examples of the spread and promotion of immorality identified in this plan, such as encouraging improper dress, vulgar modeling, obscene live streams, unethical content, and body sculpting.
Advertisements related to body sculpting are seen on many sites approved by the Islamic Republic.
Mr. Khorshad did not announce the start date of the plan to address disruptive behaviors in cyberspace, but he stated that since its initiation, 671 general surveillances have been conducted, 541 instances identified, and 34 legal and operational actions, including warnings, summons, deletions, and blockings, have been carried out.
The arrest of citizens for publishing content that does not align with the social laws of the Islamic Republic has occurred before. One of the most notable cases in recent months was the arrest of dancing girls in Ekbatan.
