Students held placards protesting the crackdown on the university and the arrest of the secretary of the Tehran General Council and the secretary of the Faculty of Social Sciences

In addition to protesting the securitization of the university atmosphere, some placards read: ‘The measure of freedom in any society is the level of freedom of its women’ and ‘We say simple things, express them very simply: We do not want compulsory hijab. Don’t say it’s the end. November continues. We stand until the end.’
