Behzad Ashjaei, an air pollution expert, says that sanctions have had the greatest impact on air pollution.
A major part of the country’s income is from oil revenues, which either remain entirely unpaid or are not fully realized.
While without financial resources, naturally, it is not possible to fully implement some of the solutions to reduce air pollution.
Also, due to sanctions, parts cannot be imported into the country, or the non-importation of other items may be influenced by sanctions.
