In Memory of Mohammad Mehdi Karami, 'Don't Tell Mom' Circulates on Social Networks

In memory of Mohammad Mehdi Karami, ‘Don’t tell mom’ is being shared on social media.

Following widespread reactions to the execution of Mohammad Mehdi Karami, one of the protesters, by the Iranian government, many graffiti of his sentence ‘Don’t tell mom’ are being shared among social media users.

Mashallah Karami, his father, said in an interview with the Etemad newspaper at the end of December that he called us and said, ‘Dad, they have given us the sentences; my sentence is execution.’ My son was crying and said, ‘Don’t tell mom.’

Mohammad Mehdi Karami, 21 years old, had several championship titles in karate. His parents released several videos and asked the authorities to revoke his execution sentence because their son is innocent.
