Increase in drug prices next year

The head of the Food and Drug Administration says that drug prices might increase by 10 to 20 percent next year, but this price increase will be covered by insurance.

According to ISNA news agency, Haidar Mohammadi has stated that price increases across all goods in line with inflation are natural, and a 10 to 20 percent increase in drug prices is not considered significant compared to inflation.

Mohammadi mentioned that if people obtain their medications through a doctor’s prescription, they will not face a price increase.
