Indian Foreign Ministry Advises Against Travel to Iran and Israel

India’s Ministry of External Affairs advises against travel to Iran and Israel

On Friday, April 12, amid rising tensions in the Middle East and the Islamic Republic’s threat of retaliatory attacks on Israeli positions, India advised its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran and Israel until further notice, given the prevailing conditions in the region.

Previously, the United States and Russia had also issued similar advisories to their citizens and stationed diplomats in the region.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs also stated that Indian citizens residing in Iran and Israel should take maximum precautionary measures to ensure their safety and minimize non-essential travel.
