Instagram has become a monetization platform and is no longer the same

Instagram has become a platform for earning money and is no longer like it used to be.

Kevin Systrom, one of the co-founders of Instagram, recently expressed his concerns about the changing goals of this social network over the years.

In an interview with American technology journalist Kara Swisher, Systrom claimed that Instagram has lost its soul and is no longer the platform he launched.

Systrom, along with Mike Krieger, founded Instagram in 2010 and later launched the location-sharing service Burbn.

In his recent interview, he stated that he used to log into Instagram to see what his friends, acquaintances, and family were doing, but now all he sees are content creators and brands using the platform to sell products and services and make money.
