Interior Minister's Response to a Tough Question About 2022: People and Officials Shouldn't Focus on the Sidelines

The Interior Minister’s response to a tough question about 2022: People and officials should not pay attention to distractions.

Ahmad Vahidi, the Interior Minister, regarding whether the Ministry of Interior had a difficult year last year, said

We cannot say it was difficult, but in the end, there was a trouble and nuisance that the enemies created for the country, and it was our duty to address this issue within the framework of the Security Council in the Ministry of Interior, which was accomplished with the help of all relevant agencies. Anyway, this is part of our duties that we must attend to.

Naturally, the enemies try to distract us from addressing fundamental issues by creating side issues. Neither our officials nor our dear nation should pay attention to these distractions, and indeed, they did not.
