Internet filtering for university professors will be lifted

Javad Hosseini Kia, a member of the committee for determining instances of criminal online content, has stated that internet filtering for university professors will be lifted.

Mr. Hosseini Kia said that we are in the process of removing internet filtering for professors and faculty members of certain specific universities. This plan will be implemented for a short period and on a trial basis, and in the next phase, it will be applied to professors of all universities in the country, providing unfiltered internet access to professors within universities.

Mr. Hosseini Kia, pointing out that we are aiming to move towards the development of unfiltered internet, said that ultimately only a series of specific websites that lead to the spread of corruption will remain filtered.
