Interview with Pezeshkian on Azerbaijan Television: We Never Feel Estranged from Azerbaijan

Pezeshkian’s interview with Azerbaijan TV: We never feel like strangers to Azerbaijan

Before traveling to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Masoud Pezeshkian explained the latest status of bilateral relations in an interview with the state television network of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The President said, first of all, I am happy to meet you and even happier that we are traveling to Azerbaijan.

Because we never feel like strangers there. We are neighbors now and have been alongside each other for a long time.

Although a border has been established between us and you, in my opinion, this border is not very significant.

Because neighbors always have walls separating them, yet they remain side by side.

Neighbors can interact with each other, share in sorrow and joy, and we have this feeling with our dear brothers and sisters in Azerbaijan.

He said we consider Iran the second homeland of Azeris.

Whenever they set foot on our soil, it will be a blessing for us.

Pezeshkian continued, saying we wholeheartedly love our brothers and sisters in the Republic of Azerbaijan, we care for them and consider them as our own.

We wish prosperity, success, and honor for all our dear ones.
