Iran and Azerbaijan Call for Resolution of Disputes
Iranian media report a phone conversation between Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, and his Azerbaijani counterpart, stating that the two sides discussed and exchanged views on ways to overcome the current crisis between the two countries.
Iranian media say Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, has spoken with Jeyhun Bayramov, his counterpart in Azerbaijan, about current developments and bilateral relations.
Accordingly, in the conversation between the Iranian Foreign Minister and Jeyhun Bayramov, which took place last night and this afternoon on April 7 and 8, the two sides emphasized mutual respect for good neighborliness and each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while referring to existing problems and misunderstandings.
