Iran called the G7’s statement against the escalation of its nuclear program biased

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Sunday, referring to the G7’s statement condemning the escalation of Iran’s nuclear activities, advised the group to distance itself from past destructive policies by learning from previous experiences.

The Group of Seven wealthy and democratic countries of the world on Friday warned Iran about advancing its nuclear enrichment program and additionally cautioned that if Tehran provides its ballistic missiles to Russia, they will be ready to implement appropriate measures.

The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday stated that some countries resort to baseless and unproven claims to continue sanctions against Iran and said that any attempt to link the Ukraine war to the bilateral cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia is an action with biased political objectives.
