Iran Denies Passage to Afghanistan's First Transit Train to Turkey

Iran did not allow the first transit train from Afghanistan to Turkey to pass through.

ILNA wrote that yesterday the first transit train carrying 1,100 metric tons of mineral stones from Afghanistan to Turkey arrived at the railway station in Rozanak. This was the first shipment of Afghan talc destined for Turkey via Iran, but reportedly it was stopped in Iran and was not allowed to pass.

An informed source said that the issue is being followed up, but the likely reason for not allowing this train to pass is financial matters.
