Iran Human Rights Organization: Execution of 6 People is Imminent

Human rights organizations warn against the Islamic Republic’s execution policy

The Iran Human Rights Organization announced in a statement that there is serious concern about the imminent execution of six prisoners

The statement mentioned that five of the prisoners accused of waging war against God in Urmia prison have been transferred to an unknown location, and one political prisoner from Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj has also been moved from the general ward to solitary confinement

The statement clarified that 39 political prisoners are also at risk of execution

On the other hand, Amnesty International also announced in a statement on Friday, December 16, that at least 26 people are at risk of execution in connection with recent protests in Iran following sham and unfair trials
