The spokesperson for the Iranian judiciary announced that the cases of Sadegh Zibakalam and Azar Mansouri have been sent to court.
Masoud Setayeshi, the spokesperson for the Iranian judiciary, reported that the cases of Sadegh Zibakalam and Azar Mansouri have been forwarded to the criminal court.
These two have been accused of disturbing public opinion and engaging in propaganda activities against the regime.
Mr. Setayeshi stated that a non-prosecution order has been issued for these two defendants.
Last week, the Tehran prosecutor announced legal action and charges against three media outlets and three critical figures in relation to the chain poisonings in Iran.
The newspapers Ham-Mihan and Shargh, along with the news-analytical website Rouydad 24, are the media outlets against which the judiciary has filed charges. Azar Mansouri and Sadegh Zibakalam, who are political critics, and Reza Kianian, an Iranian actor who commented on the recent poisonings, are also included in this list.
